Partnership is a key element of the work of the Hub, and over the years we have worked with numerous individuals, organisations and communities.

For the academic year 2026-27, we are launching three separate funds which potential partners can apply to.

Partnership commissioning provides funding to support collaborative music education projects that respond to local or county‑wide needs and benefit more than one organisation, community or school. It is designed to help partners develop, pilot or deliver ideas that add value to existing provision, build capacity and contribute to long‑term inclusion and sustainability.

Arts organisations, music education providers and other partners working in Hampshire can apply. Applications are made through a short, straightforward form outlining the need, proposed activity, intended impact, partnerships and budget.

The Young Person’s Fund provides small grants of up to £500 to help young people under 18 bring their music ideas to life. The fund supports creative, inclusive music projects that matter to young people and benefit others in a school or local community – from workshops to performances and original creative work.

Ideas should be led by young people, with an adult supporter (such as a teacher, youth worker or parent/carer) helping to complete and submit the application.

Applications are simple and can include written or creative responses, explaining the idea, why it matters, and what difference it will make.

Schools can apply for funding to create high‑quality music opportunities that would be difficult to deliver alone. This fund enables schools to collaborate on shared projects – such as performances, festivals or inclusive pilots – that respond to a clear local need, build collective capacity and benefit pupils across more than one setting.

Funding is designed to add value to existing provision, not replace it, and to support learning that can be shared more widely.
